We will leave for the DZ (drop zone) at 7:30am and arrive by 10:00am. We're fighting both Six Flags traffic and Atlantic City traffic and need to make sure we have plenty of time to get to Cross Keys for the 10am class. We will be leaving no later than 7:30am so it's important that you are on time- we'd hate to have to leave someone behind but we'd hate to miss our jumps even more!

Please do expect to spend the entire day at Cross Keys. Time permitting, we may stop for dinner on the way home. We should be back to the city by 8pm, followed by an optional trip to a local Irish pub in Manhattan for some much-deserved refreshments. :)

We're looking for volunteers to drive (either their own vehicles or a rental).

Info:
1. Must bring photo ID to prove you are over 18 years old
2. Make sure you meet the weight requirements (weigh less than 250lbs)
3. Plan on spending several hours at the DZ- bring your patience and lots of witty conversation!
4. Food and drinks can be purchased at Cross Keys and there's plenty of shady areas to hang out in while we wait.
5. Please call Cross Keys and reserve your tandem jump before finalizing your RSVP here. I strongly suggest that you reserve your tandem no later than April 25 as spaces fill up quickly. If you don't have a tandem reservation, you will not jump.
6. We need to work out transportation details. Typically we carpool, either in a member's car or via rental car. Please let me know if you have a car and you're willing to carpool with some members, or if you are willing to drive a rental. All members accepting rides are expected to pitch in to cover gas, tolls, and car rental fees (if applicable). Please have cash handy for these fees.
7. Don't be shy about questions- ask away :)

"We will leave for the DZ (drop zone) at 7:30am and arrive by 10:00am" this would put travel time from Manhattan to Cross Keys at 2.5hours. You may want to Mapquest the trip for more accurate information. We have made the trip in as little as 2 hours when there is no traffic, and as much as 3.5 hours when the roads are packed. I would guess that the trip will be 2.5 hours at this time of year.

Tandem jumps cost $189 for the first jump, $139 if you jump again within 30 days. Please keep in mind that we will be carpooling- this should add on somewhere between $25 and $45, depending on whether we have to rent a car or if a member is willing to use his/her own vehicle. Info on costs and other FAQs can be found here: http://skydiving.meetup.com...
